This venue is horrible and we will never go back.
We made a vacation out of it by traveling over 4 hours for this concert. When we get up to the door, they were JUST putting up a sign that said ‘no vape pens’ which is a little late in my opinion. We waited in this line for an hour and a half to get to the venue, and they don’t open the doors till the show is literally starting. My husband had to hide his vape pen outside and hope it didn’t get stolen or broken. The sound is just awful, and there were people smoking cigarettes in their seats, but we weren’t even allowed to bring in our vape pens into the building. We get inside just in time to hear the end of the opening band, which is who we came to see, and missed almost the entire thing. There were people in our seats that refused to move, and the staff did absolutely nothing about it. They don’t have metal detectors so they patted everyone down individually. We ended up leaving MID CONCERT because we couldn’t hear nor see anything. The Toyota Center sucks, and we will NEVER go back.
